When I saw this competition, I just had to enter. Window Art??? OH YES! Ive been wanting to put my art on windows since it stained glass inspired!! haha
Also seeing that it would be showcased in Miami had me beyond excited. I decided to go with a Cuban theme since I am Cuban! All the colors of miami are inspired by cuban heritage and I wanted to capture those delicious, bold colors that people will be drawn to. I have incorporated cuban salsa, and the streets and iconic cars that you see in pictures (maybe instead of that car, have a fiat!!!) lol, along with it's beautiful beaches and buildings. Take a walk down havana! Naming it was a bit hard! phew but I have to thank someone for that. My Abuelita would always say Ahh Que Rico!! when she saw something she loved or ate something that knocked her zapato's (shoes) off! So I decided to name this mango looking car, Que Rico!!! (mmm yummy!)
